Kupwara: A CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) paramilitary trooper died of a suspected cardiac arrest at his home in Gundishart area of Karnah in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district this afternoon, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Yameen, son of Manghat Khatanna, a resident of Ibkote.
As per reports, he suffered a major cardiac arrest during a function at his home and was lifted for immediate medical attention to SDH (sub district hospital) Kupwara, where the doctors however declared him as brought dead on arrival.
An official said that he was posted at Delta Coy (DPL Kupwara), and currently, he was on leave since August 29, 2022.
