Bandipora: A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army crashed on Friday in Gujran Nallah, tulail area of Gurez, North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Authorities have launched a massive search operation to trace on-board people including its pilot and co-pilot.
There was no word so far if they ejected safely or suffered casualty in the crash which took place this afternoon.
An army official said while helicopter has crashed, more details were awaited.
“Reportedly there were pilot and co-pilot at the time of crash but there is no confirmation if there were other people on-board also. There are no reports of whereabouts,” the official said.
