A 15-year-old boy. Hafiz Murtaza Shaikh was allegedly beaten and hanged to death by a tree by Hindutva group in Maharashtra’s Beed village, reports said.
As per reports, the incident took place when Hafiz and his sister went to collect fuel wood, when the duo was surrounded by the group and attacked.
“The sister ran for help, but upon returning, she found her brother’s body hanging from a tree,” it said.
The incident has sparked outrage among the local community.
Police said that an investigation has been launched into the ‘matter’.
Recently, a muslim boy was killed by cow vigilantees in Karnataka, another man was killed in Bihar and two Muslim Men were charred to death in UP’s Mewat.
