Rajouri, April 5 — A 19-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances near his residence in Rajouri district on Saturday.
Officials identified the deceased as Shafqit, a resident of Ponda Naka in Peeri area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kandi, Tehsil Kotranka.
“A body was recovered near the boy’s house under unexplained conditions,” an official told JKNS.
Police were alerted and reached the location, where they took the body into custody for medico-legal formalities.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
