Srinagar: The upper reaches of Kashmir experienced a fresh snowfall while rains lashed plains, dropping temperatures across many parts of the region.
As per details, Kashmir capital, Srinagar recorded 10.4°C, below-normal by 0.4°C.
In South Kashmir; top tourist destination of Pahalgam logged 6.2°C, below normal by 1.6°C and the gateway town of valley, Qazigund logged 8.9°C, below normal by 2.1°C.
The mercury settled at 9.6°C, below-normal by 0.4°C in Kokernag, 11.3°C in Pulwama, 10.1°C in Kulgam and 9.2°C in Shopian.
In North Kashmir; world famous skiing resort, Gulmarg logged 7.0°C, below-normal by -3°C with Baramulla logging 12.5°C, Bandipora 13.5°C, and Kupwara 9.3°C.
In Central Kashmir; Ganderbal logged 10.5°C, details of Budgam district were unavailable.
Pir Panchal region’s Banihal recorded 10.5°C, below-normal by 1.3°C and 18.9°C in Ramban. However, details from Poonch and Rajouri districts were unavailable.
In Chenab Valley, Bhaderwah logged 26.9 °C, details from Kishtwar was unavailable.
In Zanskar region, Leh logged 10.4°C and Kargil logged 10.3°C.
In Pakistan-controlled-Kashmir, Muzafarabad logged 16.5°C, Mirpur 18°C, Skardu 10.0°C, Gilgit 14.0°C.
