Srinagar: The body of a second untraceable preteen, who drowned after a boat crashed in river Jhelum in the Gandabal area of Srinagar on April 16, was retrieved from the river on Saturday morning near the Noorbagh area of Srinagar after 12 days, officials said.
An official said that the body of the boy was retrieved near Noorbagh Srinagar, this morning.
At least nine people including four children were killed after a boat crashed near the Gandbal area on April 16.
On Friday,
another preteen’s body was retrieved from the Jhelum River near the old Zero bridge with the funeral being attended by hundreds.
The official said that the body has been shifted to SMHS Srinagar for medico-legal formalities.
