Srinagar, March 14 — Jammu and Kashmir will see rain and snowfall over the next 36 hours, with weather expected to improve from March 17, the meteorological department said Friday.
Fresh snowfall was reported in parts of south Kashmir, while light to moderate rain continued across the region on March 14.
Officials said wet conditions would continue through March 15 and 16, with scattered showers likely on March 16 before clearing up.
A yellow warning has been issued for isolated snowfall and lightning, with authorities cautioning about possible travel disruptions at higher reaches and important mountain passes on March 14 and 15.
