Poonch, May 6 —A Pakistani national was apprehended by military troops after he crossed the Line of Control (LoC) into the Indian side in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch sector on Tuesday, officials said.
“The intruder, said to be in his early 20s, was taken into custody immediately after being spotted near the LoC,” Indian military said in a statement.
He is being questioned to ascertain his identity, motive, and any possible links to hostile elements.
Further investigation is underway.
