Satara, 16 Feb: Faced with gridlocked traffic and minutes left to reach his exam venue, a student in Maharashtra’s Satara district took an unconventional route—paragliding to his centre.

Samarth Mahangade, a student from Pasarani village in Wai taluka, was in Panchgani for personal work when he realized he had only 15-20 minutes to make it to his exam.

With heavy traffic choking the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road, he opted for paragliding as a last-minute solution.

A viral video shows Samarth soaring through the sky with his college bag, making a dramatic entrance at the exam centre while fully equipped with paragliding gear.

Adventure sports expert Govind Yewale of GP Adventures in Panchgani helped organize the flight. "Given the traffic situation, this was the quickest way. Our team ensured a safe and timely landing near his college," Yewale said.
