New Delhi, March 26 — The Delhi High Court has granted custody parole to jailed Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) president and Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid, allowing him to attend the second part of the 4th Session of the Lok Sabha from March 26 to April 4.

AIP’s chief spokesperson Inam-un-Nabi confirmed the development, stating, “The Hon’ble Delhi High Court has permitted MP Er Rashid to attend the Parliament session.”

Rashid, who was elected from Baramulla, is in custody in connection with a terror funding case. The court’s decision follows multiple appeals from his party and supporters, demanding he be allowed to represent his constituency in Parliament.
