New Delhi, April 27 — Anti-Kashmir sentiment is spreading rapidly across India after the Pahalgam militant attack, with social media platforms becoming breeding grounds for open calls for sexual violence against Kashmiri Muslim women.

As thousands of Kashmiris fled northern India following threats and assaults, an initial online offer of safety to Kashmiri girls in Delhi quickly twisted into threats of rape and misogynistic abuse.

A user identified as Ben Dover (@nortjesznn) posted, "Any Kashmiri girl feeling threatened in Delhi can come to my house at night. You will be safe and well hosted."

But within hours, the tone shifted when he added, "I can’t guarantee if she will be alive after spending a night with me," openly targeting Hijabi women and declaring, "Hijabis are my priority."

The post received 4,400 likes, with comments promoting sexual violence flooding the thread.

However, many condemned the rhetoric, stating:

"This attack has exposed the real monsters, rapists, and genocidal maniacs. You’re just as bad as the terrorists,” user @Isra44945572 commented.

“Don’t prove your patriotism with this. Hindutva social media is just a warped version of reality,” another user said.

“This mindset is typical of rapists — sick, uneducated, and jobless.”

“This predator mindset isn’t fringe; it's nurtured and protected in Modi’s India.”
