Awantipora: Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone V. K Birdi-IPS conducted a special inspection at Police Station Tral and Police Post Aripal, urging police personnel to be vigilant against militancy.
Accompanied by DIG SKR Anantnag Rayees Mohammad Bhat and SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmad Zargar, the inspection focused on crime data analysis, Woman Help Desk operations, CCTNS functionality, and facilities for troopers, reads the statement issued to The Himalayan Post.
During the interaction, IGP Birdi sought valuable insights from the police personnel, addressing their experiences and challenges.
Stressing the need for countermeasures against militancy, he urged utmost responsibility in tackling the ongoing threat.
IGP Kashmir also called on the importance of vigilance against suspicious elements supporting militancy, stressing continuous monitoring to thwart potential incidents.
In his address, IGP Birdi underscored the significance of stringent action against individuals involved in anti-India activities.
