Gaza, April 20: Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed at least 29 more Palestinians since dawn on Sunday, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to escalate the offensive after Hamas rejected a proposed temporary truce.
Netanyahu ruled out halting the war, stating that ‘operations’ would continue with full force.
Hamas has insisted on a comprehensive agreement that includes a permanent end to the war in exchange for the release of remaining captives.
At least 51,201 Palestinians have been killed 116,869 injured since the Israel began its war on Gaza 18 months ago. The Gaza Government Media Office placed the actual death toll at more than 61,700, citing thousands missing under the rubble.
