Amit Shah Chairs High-Level Meeting on J&K in New Delhi

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah is chairing a high-level meeting on Jammu and Kashmir following a series of militant attacks that have shaken the Jammu and Chenab regions.
 
Sources stated that ahead of the Amarnath Yatra and in light of the recent spate of attacks in Jammu, Amit Shah is leading a high-level meeting at North Block in New Delhi to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
 

The meeting is attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, senior military officers including Chief of Defence Staff General Manoj Pande and Chief of military Staff (Designate) General Upendra Dwivedi, the Director General of CAPFs, the Chief Secretary and the DGP of J&K, along with other senior officers.
