Poonch: The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in the Surankote area in Pir Panjal’s Poonch district, an official said.
He was identified as Farooq Ahmad, son of Satar Din Sheikh, and a resident of Wasti (Middle) Sanai Surankote.
He was found hanging from a tree following which locals informed the police.
"A police team has reached the site to gather necessary details", the official further said.
