Srinagar: An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted Kashmir valley on Tuesday at around 10:17 pm (IST), a concerned official said.
Deputy Director Meteorological department (MeT) that the Hindukush region of Afghanistan was the epicenter of the quake.
Meanwhile, damages caused by the earthquake couldn’t be ascertained at this moment.
Also, Mobile telecommunication was disrupted in many areas.
