Poonch: A thirteen year old boy was killed on Saturday due to electric shock in Mendhar area of Pir Panchal region’s Poonch district, officials said.
He has been identified as Sayed Shabhaz Ali(13) son of Sajjad Hussain Shah and a resident of Chjjila Kiyani.
Officials said that the teen died when he accidently came into contact with electricity.
He was immediately shifted to SDH (Sub-district hospital) Mendhar by his parents. However doctors declared him brought dead.
BMO (Block Medical Officer) Mendhar Dr Ashfaq Ahmad also confirmed his death.
Meanwhile, police said a case has been registered in this regard.
