Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police registered a case against an individual for allegedly posting ‘objectionable content’ against women of a particular community on social media in Srinagar’s Rainawari. However, the police did not brief about the nature of the content and did not identify the community or the individual.
In a statement, Srinagar Police said: “Cognizance has been taken against an individual for posting objectionable, provocative content against women folk of a particular community on social media platform X.
“FIR No 14/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station, Rainawari and investigation initiated by Srinagar Police,” the police said.
