Srinagar: The body of a Bandipora youth who jumped into the River Jhelum in the Chattabal area on June 1 has been recovered on the outskirts of Srinagar’s Sangam, officials said.
An official stated that the body of the youth, identified as Mohd Iqbal Dar, son of Satar and a resident of Sadnara Hajin Bandipora, was found at Sangam.
He had jumped into the River Jhelum at Bharave Ghat Chattabal, Srinagar.
An investigation has started, and more details are awaited, the official added.
