Bijbehara: A youth riding a motorcycle died on Monday evening after being hit by a tipper near the Donipora area of south Kashmir’s Bijbehara.
The deceased has been identified as Shahid Ahmed Rather (20), son of Ghulam Nabi and a resident of Chowgund, Verinag.
An official said the accident occurred along the Jammu-Srinagar Highway near the Donipora crossing.
He stated that the motorcyclist was critically injured and was shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara, where he succumbed to his injuries.
