Srinagar: An elderly man was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Barbar Shah area of Srinagar city, officials said on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, son of Gulam Ahmad Shah, a resident of Barbar Shah, Srinagar.

Police have taken cognizance, he added.
