Srinagar: A teen who jumped into the river Jhelum at Bharave Ghat in the Chattabal area of Srinagar on Saturday has been identified as a Bandipora resident, according to officials.
He has been identified as Mohd Iqbal Dar, son of Satar, a resident of Sadnara Hajin Bandipora, an official said.
A rescue operation was launched by police and locals, but no trace of the youth was found, he added.
