Srinagar: A youth was killed onThursday afternoon when a scooty he was riding was hit by a vehicle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The deceased has been dentified as Umar Sheikh, a resident of Rawalpora Srinagar.
The scooty rider was hit by a Tavera (Local Cab) at Kralpora area of Chadoora, Budam, an official said.
The injured was taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora where he was declared brought dead on arrival, he said.
"The driver have fled from spot, however investigation has been started," he added.
