Srinagar: Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded the coldest night of the season while the local Meteorological department is expecting a further dip in the coming days.
MeT officials informed that the minimum temperature in Srinagar plummeted further, saying that at minus 6.0 degrees celsius, the J&K’s summer capital recorded the coldest night of the season.
There is the possibility of a further dip in the coming days, officials said.
Intense cold conditions prevail across Jammu and Kashmir over the last couple of days. The weatherman has predicted fresh snowfall on December 24, saying that a Western Disturbance is affecting J&K from December 24-26.
