The district administration of Kupwara in north Kashmir has restricted the vehicular movement towards the border areas and Poonch admin also suspended the vehicular movement on Mughal road after fresh snowfall.
"In view of the snowfall in border areas, slippery condition of roads and to save precious lives for accidental mishaps, it is requested to restrict the traffic movement on Kupwara from border areas."
The areas include Keran, Karnah, Machil, Jumagund, Budnambal and Kumkadi from both sides.
It added that the traffic must remain restricted till the improvement of weather conditions.
