Srinagar: Authorities of the Power Development Department on Monday announced a power outage schedule for parts of Kashmir valley including the capital Srinagar from 9 to 13 May.
As per reports, the Power Controller, Kashmir said that the power supply to receiving stations of Srinagar’s Harwan, Shalimar, Brain, Sonwar, Dalgate, BB Cant and Rajbagh shall remain affected on May 10 from 10 am to 2 pm for ‘urgent preventive maintenance work.’
Also, the receiving Stations of Nowpora, Achabal, Seelu and Bomai shall remain affected “due to augmentation/twining works” on May 09 and 13 from 10 am to 3 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to receiving stations Pulwama and Pinglena shall remain affected on May 09 and 10 from 09 am to 5 pm for the “Erection of pole”(33 KV Lassipora- Pulwama Line).
“In order to facilitate shifting of electrical Utilities,” the power supply to receiving station Wanpoh shall remain affected on May 09 from 11 am to 3 pm.
Likewise, electricity supply shall remain affected on May 13 from 11 am to 3 pm in Brakpora and Dialgam.
