Srinagar: Reacting to the Supreme Court verdict on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that “no power in the universe can now bring back Article 370”, according to a report.
In an interview with Dainik Jagran, he said that the Supreme Court has put its stamp on the abrogation of Article 370 and that no power in the universal can bring it back.
On the development, Anantnag MP Justice Hasnain Masoodi said that the court may review the verdict as India is a democratic country.
“Saying this wasn’t right,” he said.
“How can we say that no power in the universe can bring back Article 370? The Supreme Court may review its verdict,” he added.
