LG Inaugurates Multiplex In Srinagar’s Sonwar

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday inaugurated a multiplex cinema hall in Sonwar area of Srinagar city and said that they believe in establishing Peace rather than purchasing it.

“August 5 was the historic day for J&K as the government has taken many decisions which is now developing in Jammu and Kashmir,” LG said during the inauguration.

He also made an announcement about establishing a Film city in the Union Territory in the coming months and said that with the advent of new film policies, more films are being shot here now.

“We will also be establishing a Film city in the coming months, allotment of land for the Film city is done already.” he said.

“The government is planning to open 100 seater Cinema halls in every district of J&K that will provide the people of Valley a chance to relax and entertain themselves,” he added.

Meanwhile, the office of the LG called the inauguration as a major Socio-economic revolution, sweeping through J&K in the last 3 years and a reflection of a new dawn of hope, dreams, confidence and aspirations of people.
