Shopian: Over 13 Kanals of forest land allegedly occupied by a former minister and now a unionist of Azad-led-DAP leader were retrieved during the ongoing eviction drive in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, authorities of LG administration said on Monday.
An official said that a revenue department team along with the forest department retrieved 13 Kanal and 16 Marlas forest land from former minister Taj Mohi-Ud-din in the Sedow area of Shopian.
Out of 35 Kanals,13 Kanals, and 16 Marlas were found illegally occupied by the former minister, he added.
