Anantnag: The Administration of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has directed students of higher secondary schools to deposit 20 rupees for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
“In compliance to instructions received from District Administration. All the Principals of Higher Secondary Schools, Zonal Education Officers and Headmasters of Schools falling under the jurisdiction of Chief Education Office Anantnag are directed to collect Rs. 20/= (Rupees Twenty Only) per student enrolled in their school and deposit the same in the concerned Zonal Education office (Nodal Officer) upto 2:00 PM by 23.07.2022 positively,” the order from the Anantnag district Chief Education officer reads.
Earlier, Jammu Kashmir administration launched ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign which orders all the residents of Kashmir to hoist the Tricolor (India flag) on the rooftops of their houses on the Independence day i.e. 15 August.
The admin stated that the initiative will be part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), celebration and commemoration of 75 years of India’s independence.
