Govt Withdraws 20 Rs. Contribution Order For Tricolour In Anantnag

Anantnag: The circular issued by the chief education officer Anantnag directing students to deposit rupees 20 for ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been withdrawn on Saturday.

“Circular issued by this office vide No. Nil Dated: 21.07.2022 regarding Contribution on account of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is hereby withdrawn with immediate effect,” The Kashmiriyat reported.  

Earlier, the Administration of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district directed students of higher secondary schools to deposit 20 rupees for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign launched by J&K LG Manoj Sinha in which the Tricolour (Indian National Flag) would be hoisted on the rooftops of all houses/buildings to commemorate the 75^th celebration of Independence day i.e. 15 August.
