Srinagar: As the Chillai-Kalan (Kashmir’s harshest winter period) entered its second day, the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department (HED) announced winter vacations for all Government Degree Colleges across Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
As per an order issued by Principal Secretary HED Alok Kumar, the Degree Colleges in Kashmir and the winter zones of the Jammu division I.e the districts of Pir Panjal and Chenab region will observe winter vacation from December 27 to February 14, 2023.
Also, the degree Colleges in the summer zone of the Jammu division will observe winter vacation from January 1 to January 10, 2023.
