Srinagar: Government Medical College Srinagar organised webinar on Immunization Day conducted by the Department of Community Medicine in association with Departments of Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Paediatrics of the hospital.
Samia Rashid, Principal and Dean, GMC Srinagar inaugurated the event whereas Dr. S. Muhammad Salim Khan, Professor and HOD Community Medicine emphasized on national policy on adult Immunization in addition to universal Immunization program among children and pregnant women.
Meanwhile, Doctors including Associate Professors Dr. Ruqia Quansar, Dr. Sobia Nisar, Dr. Suhail Ahmad Naik talked on Vaccination of adolescents especially on administration of Tdap, HPV and hepatitis-B and discussed about safety of Vaccination during pregnancy especially COVID vaccine.
