Srinagar: An unidentified girl jumped into the Jhelum River near the Habba Kadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon. A rescue operation has been launched, according to officials.
An official stated that the rescue operation was immediately initiated to trace her.
He added that the operation is underway, and efforts are being made to retrieve the body.
The police have taken cognizance of the matter, he added.
