Srinagar: At-least four houses were damaged on Saturday afternoon in a devastating fire that broke out in old town Baramulla, north Kashmir.
Official sources said a team of police and fire department have reached the spot.
"Fire started in a residential house and engulfed at least three others within no time," officals said.
When this report was filed, the flames were brought under control by fire and emergency department with the help of police and locals.
An official in the fire and emergency dept said that 8 tenders were rushed to the spot. However, reason behind the massive fire was not immediately known and is being investigated, officials said.
There are no reports regarding injury to any person in the incident.
