Pulwama: An elderly man died of electrocution at his home in the Trich area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday, according to officials.
He has been identified as 75-year-old Ghulam Qadir Bhat, son of Mohammad Abdullah Bhat and a resident of Trich, Pulwama.
An official said that he was electrocuted while fixing an electric motor.
He was brought to District Hospital Pulwama in an unconscious state and later succumbed to his injuries.
The body of the deceased is at District Hospital Pulwama for medico-legal formalities.
