Srinagar: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang Kondbarao Pole on Saturday inaugurated a paid car parking belonging to Evacuee Property Kashmir.
The paid car parking was inaugurated in presence of Custodian, Evacuee Property Department Kashmir Tariq Hussain Naik and other Officers of the Department also some stakeholders representatives.
“It was a long pending demand of various tourism stakeholders to make this space available for car parking,” said Ab. Qayoom Qadri Dy. Custodian.

Moreover, the Divisional Commissioner congratulated the department for making efforts and creating this facility.
“The visitors shall benefit and traffic flow on the busiest road of Srinagar will ease out,” Div com said.
He also directed the department to aware people about the facility to avoid traffic congestion.
However, the Custodian Evacuee Property department of Kashmir assured for the same.
The Department of Custodian Evacuee Property was created by the Government under the J&K Evacuee’s (Administration of Property) Act Svt. 2006 (1949) and Rules made there-under to Administer upon and Manage various Evacuee’s Properties left behind by the persons who migrated to POJK in 1947 due to partition.
