Srinagar: Briefing a Press Conference, Vijay Kumar IGP (Inspector General of Police) said a special Investigation team (SIT) headed by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police will probe the sequence of killing where four people were killed.
The four slain people were identified as Mohammad Altaf Bhat, a shopkeeper from Barzulla who also owned the building; Mudasir Gul, a doctor by profession from Kanipora, who was working as builder and had the office in the building; third as Aamir from Banihal, who was working as helper in Gul’s office. The fourth person, as per the police, was a foreign militant Haidar.
He also said that investigations will clear whether pistol bullet had hit building owner Altaf Ahmed or he was hit by AK bullet fired by forces.
"The modus operandi of a hi-tech hideout at Hyderpora were many mobile phones and computers were recovered will be probed and the team will also investigate sequence of events that led to killing of building owner and militant associate," Mr. Vijay said.
"It will also get into the details of whether militants were in touch with any foreign country," he added.
Pertinently, three families of Altaf, Mudasir, Amir had denied the allegations and demand bodies for the burial.
