Srinagar: The body of a West Bengal resident was found in Srinagar’s Dal Lake in the early morning on Thursday, officials said.
An official said that the body was found in Dal Lake near Ghat No 1 early morning today.
He said that the body was later identified as that of Raja Singha Roy, resident of West Bengal.
Police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated further investigation.
