Srinagar: A firefighter has received burn wounds in an ongoing rescue operation in Batamaloo area of Kashmir capital Srinagar.
A Fire and Emergency Department official said around ten houses in proximity are involved in the flames.
"The area is too congested and we are trying our best to extingush the fire as soon, we have to avoid its spread to other structures," he said.
The injured was identified as Mohammad Ahsan, LFM (Leading Fireman.)
As reported, the massive conflagration broke out at around 10:55 PM.
