Bandipora: The administration in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday airlifted two patients from snowbound Gurez valley to Bandipora for immediate medical relief, officials said.
Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad, the duo patients requiring emergency evacuation from Gurez Sub Division airlifted from Baduaab and Neeru to Bandipora.
Notably, the snow-clad Gurez valley remains cut off from the rest of the Kashmir parts during winters because of the heavy snowfall.
