Srinagar: Department of School Education announced winter vacations for all schools of Kashmir and Jammu region from December 6 to February 28.
Top officials in the department said classes upto 8th standard shall observe winter vacation from December 6 to February 28 and For 9th to 12th standard students- 13 December onwards.
Meanwhile, they said the decision of winter vacation was taken in view of the dip in mercury.
