Kishtwar: Two young brothers drowned to death in a stream in the Bonjwah area of Chenab Valley’s Kishtwar district.
The victims have been identified as Nasir Hussain (16) and Yasir Hussain (13), sons of Mohd Shafi Zargar from Gundoo Tehsil, Chilli Pingil District Doda.
According to reports, the duo was bathing in the stream when they drowned, prompting locals and police to immediately launch a rescue operation that lasted four hours.
However, their bodies were eventually recovered from the stream. Following necessary legal procedures, the bodies were handed over to their bereaved family members.
