Uri: Two unidentified militants were killed after they tried to cross the Line of Control in the Sabura Nala area of north Kashmir’s Uri on Friday, according to officials.
A top official said that two militants have been killed and one body has been recovered so far.
However, searches in the area are underway, he said.
Earlier, during wee hours, movement of militants was detected. They were challenged by the armed forces, leading to the gunfight, he added.
