Srinagar, November 29 – The Jammu and Kashmir administration has terminated two government employees under Article 311 of the Indian Constitution for alleged links to militancy, officials confirmed.
The employees include Abdul Rehman Naika, a pharmacist in the health and medical education department, Kulgam and Zahir Abbas, a teacher in the school education department, Kishtwar.
Since 2020, hundreds of government employees have been sacked over similar allegations. While the process has been ongoing under the LG administration, it seems likely that the terminations will continue even after an elected government is established in Jammu and Kashmir.
