Srinagar, Apr 21 — The Tulip Garden in Srinagar will close for public entry from the evening of April 24, according to an official notice issued by Director Floriculture, Kashmir, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather (IAS).
“As recommended by the Tulip Committee, the Tulip Garden Srinagar (Tulip Show-2025) which was opened to visitors on 26th of March, 2025 shall be closed for general public w.e.f:- 24.04.2025 (Evening),” the notice read.
Located at the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains, the garden draws thousands of visitors each spring with its colourful bloom, displaying 75 varieties. Among these were new additions such as ‘Triumph’ and ‘Darwin Hybrid’ tulips, imported from the Netherlands and Holland.
