Kulgam: Top police officers on Wednesday visited the family of slain ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) Mushtaq Ahmad who was killed in a militant attack on Tuesday in Lal bazar area of Srinagar.
“The DIG SKR Anantnag Abdul Jabbar, SSP Kulgam Dr GV.Sundeep Chakravarthy alongwith DySP HQR and SHO Kulgam visited the family of ASI Mushtaq Ahmad who was a resident of Shouch, south Kashmir’s Kulgam.
“Officers expressed their sympathy and prayed for eternal peace of departed soul and assured the family members that every possible help and support to the family will be provided by the department of J&K police,” police said in a statement.
“The family of the slain policeman expressed gratitude and happiness for the Police department for the empathetic gesture”, the statement added.
