Srinagar Records Season’s Coldest Night at -0.7°C

Srinagar, 20 November 2024—Srinagar experienced the coldest night of the season as temperatures dropped to -0.7°C, marking the city’s first sub-zero reading this winter.

South Kashmir’s Shopian shivered at -3.9°C, while Pahalgam recorded 3.7°C, intensifying the chill across the region.

The Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather till November 23, with a wet spell likely to follow across Jammu and Kashmir.
