Sopore: Three alleged over-ground workers were arrested with a pistol recovered from the trio in north Kashmir’s Sopore district, according to police officials.
"A senior police officer said that during routine checking at Fruit Mandi crossing on March 31, 2024, Sopore Police, along with 22 RR and 179 BN CRPF, observed suspicious behavior from three people attempting to flee."
"The trio was tactically intercepted and apprehended on the spot," said the police officer.
"Upon searching them, a pistol was recovered."
"The trio failed to justify the contents of their phones, which contained incriminating evidence, following which a case has been registered under FIR No. 68/2024 U/S 7/25 Arms Act and 13 UAPA Act at Police Station Sopore, with investigations ongoing," said the officer further.
