Uri: The Department of Wildlife captured a leopard in the Zamboor Pattan area of North Kashmir's Uri on Saturday.
The leopard is suspected to be the same one that mauled a four-year-old girl to death ten days ago in Zamboor Pattan, an official said.
Following the girl's death, the Department of Wildlife had been on high alert and installed two cages, which yielded results when the suspected leopard was found trapped in one of the cages this morning, he said.
The locals have praised the wildlife officials for their efforts, he added.
